Translucent green drops of calm is what these fabulous Green Chalcedony earrings become when you put them on.  These hand crafted minimalist chalcedony briolette drop earrings are such a brilliant apple green color. Known as a heart chakra stone, green chalcedony (kal-ced-ney) has been considered a strong healing stone throughout history.

Chalcedony is a type of cryptocrystalline quartz that ranges from semi translucent to opaque, and can come in many colors from gray to blue to green.  It is often color enhanced, as the stone is porous enough to take dyeing well.

The top of the stone is wire wrapped in Sterling silver wire and it hangs from a delicate 1mm wide quality Sterling silver cable chain with a spring ring clasp. The natural chalcedony is a 8mm x 10mm faceted briolette teardrop that sparkles as you move. Overall length of the necklace is 18 3/4".
