Known as a heart chakra stone, green chalcedony (kal-ced-ney) has been considered a strong healing stone throughout history.

Chalcedony is a type of cryptocrystalline quartz that ranges from semi translucent to opaque, and can come in many colors from gray to blue to green.  It is often color enhanced, as the stone is porous enough to take dyeing well.

The tops of the stones are wire wrapped in delicate Sterling silver wire and they hang from quality Sterling silver ear wires. These natural green chalcedony are 8mm x 10mm faceted briolette teardrops that sparkle as you move. Overall length of the earring is 24mm (7/8").
