Turquoise Nuggets, Campitos
We love turquoise - who doesn't? Treasured throughout the world since antiquity for its vivid and variable blue-green hue, turquoise is viewed as a master healer, a protective stone and is valued simply for its beauty.
These are nuggets from the Campitos mine in Sonora, Mexico. They're huge! The largest bead in the whole group measures 28mm. Most are a more modest 18-22mm. Both strands have tons of color and character, with tan to brown matrix and color ranging from soft green to an intense near-sky blue. Overall length is 16.5".
We've got only two strands, one of which is heavier and bulkier than the other - please see the pictures. Want one? Let us know which!
